My knives weren’t in bad shape but this put the edge on that I just wasn’t able to get with the cheaper sharpeners. It took about five minutes with my best carving knife and I think the strop was well worth it.

Great until lost
Eas of use. I needed something that would be easy for my wife to use as I am always on the road and not able to always be home to sharpen our knifes so this was an easy choose to make in buying this style of sharpener. My wife actually used it to sharpen the majority of or knifes the first time we brought it out. Then we put it in it’s nice little stand and put it in the cabinets to keep out of reach of children and my 2 year old found her way up there and took it and we can not find it anywhere. Which stinks might have to wait a while before I can buy another one
