Skeptical review.
I was looking for an easy way to sharpen my kitchen and pocket knives. I reviewed several options but due to simplicity and ease I chose to try Tumbler. My first pass with tumbler was “OK”. It did get me moderate results. However after reviewing and actuality reading the instructions, I realized that Tumbler will cut a true 20 or 15 degree blade, and if your knife did not already have that angle blade it may take a bit more work to get it there. Use the marker on the blade technique. Once the blade is cut to the true angle it is an amazingly quick and sharp blade.
Now I could not be more pleased with my choice and it is as quick and easy as I hoped it would be.
Very highly recommend this sharpener, but only for those willing to follow instructions.

The difficulty with hand-sharpening knives is maintaining a consistent angle through the curve towards the end of the blade, and Tumbler solves this for you. I am very happy with how easy it is to get a consistent edge.

This thing really works! I started with the knife we use most often – now back to smooth slicing and dicing, and another knife my wife had through culinary school over twenty years ago.
